Tea Act
The Tea Act was designed to help a struggling British company reduce smuggling. This made East India Company tea actually cheaper than the smuffled tea. This led to the Boston Tea party. -
Boston Tea Party
Samuel Adams and 70 others dumped chests of tea into the harbor after parliament passed the Tea Act. The loss of valuable cargo infuriated British Officials and brought more repressive laws. -
Intolerable Acts
This was a series of laws to pushish rebellious colonists to pay for the Boston Tea Party. -
Boston Port Act
The British Parliament closed the Boston Harbor after the Boston Tea Party. -
Administration of Justice Act
-suspended the right of self-government in the Massachusetts colony and alllowed British to send rebellious colonists for trial in other colonies by British judge

Massachusetts Government Act
-revoked the power, number of town meetings that a community might hold, and prohibited the election of town officials.

First Continental Congress
It was a meeting of delegates from twelve of the thirteen colonies and the delagates agreed that each colony would have 1 vote dispite size. -
