French and Indian war
The French and Indians were allies fighting against the British so the Indians could have their land back. The British won the war and the Indians didn't get their land back. -
Proclamation of 1763
This proclamation made it so the colonist couldn't settle west of the Appalachian mountains. The colonists weren't happy with this because they fought for that land but could not settle on it. -
The Sugar Act
The British government taxed everything that had sugar in it. Although it was a smaller tax than the molasses act, it ended up being more money because more things have sugar than molasses. -

The act taxed lead, glass, paint, tea, paper. It taxed most things that were not made in the colonies. -

The colonists were getting mad about the new taxes. Then a group of British soldiers opened fire on a group of colonists, killing five. -

Some of the acts were the closing of the Boston Harbor, new government that was loyal to the King of England. And they made the colonists house and feed British soldiers. -

Representatives of King George the 3rd and representatives from America signed the treaty. This signing ended the war. -

He died in 1804 in Greenwich village, New York City, NY. He died when facing Burr in a duel. Burr shot him and killed him.
