Battle of Bunker Hill
The battle of bunker hill didn't actually happen on Bunker Hill, it was on Breeds Hill because it was closer to the American camp. It was 2400 British vs. 1500 Americans. 1150 of the British were lost and 450 Americans were lost. We did not win this battle but it proved we could fight. -

the patriots wanted to attack Princeton so they made it look like they were camping out at a nearby island and when the British tried to attack us we already infiltrated Princeton and captured it. -
The Struggle of Saratoga
This battle was all about timing for the British. One fleet from the North and one fleet from the South. But the southern fleet decided to capture Philelphia, which they did but with a price. when they arrived at Saratoga they found that the river was dammed up and the other fleet was destroyed. British general Burgoyne surrendered to us after a couple day battle. France and Spain joined our side after we won. -
Valley Forge
American army held out at Valley Forge for the winter. It was deadly cold. became a time of training for every soldier. There were harsh punishments for crimes during this time.
