American suprised and captured hessians, while Washington led troops to King Street. Had 6 cannons firing at Trenton, New Jersey.

Battle of saratoga
3 britain armies marched toward Albany. 1 went to philadelphia to capture a city, another was stopped in there tracks and defeated, Burgoynes army was the last one left and was forced to saratoga where Patriots ambushed them and defeated them. This was the turning point of the war. New York.

Valley Forge 1777-1778
Area where Britain attacks were low due to the distance and fiercely harsh weather conditions. They camped, and they're starved and freezing with little to no clothes. Baron Von Steuben taught patriots how to fight and march in a line, and finnaly moved on June 19 1778.

Battle of Monmouth
General Washington led the patriots. Mostly a draw, Patriots were the last on the battle field but mostly because Britain was protecting their baggage train, plus they lost almost the same ammount of men with a little bit more lost on the britain side so technically it was a draw. New Jersey

Daniel Morgan was general for the patriots while Banastre Tarleton was the leader for the britain red coats. Was in South Carolina and was a huge turning point in the south for the patriots as this victory was followed by the battle of Yorktown. South Carolina

Battle of Yorktown
France and America fighting against Britain. The last really big war of the revolutionary war, after the Britain surrendered they got Britain to end the war. George Washington was the general of the patriot side. Virginia was the setting of the fight.

Ended the revolutionary war and gave the U.S independency. John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Jay were the main negotiators and was signed in Paris.
