Stuck in the rain
The 4th grade portable gets stuck in the mud! -
New 4th grade portable arrives
The new 4th grade portable is delivered on 8 trucks. -
Safe Wires
The ceiling is opened up to make sure all of the wires are in the right place in the hallway. -
Temporary Wall
A temporary wall is put up to keep dust and debris away from students and teachers. -
Temporary Fence
A temporary orange fence is put up to keep people out of the construction area. -
Destruction!
The walls and insulation all come down in the old 3rd & 4th grade. -
Insulation down
The yellow fluffy stuff on the floor is the insulation that was used to keep the classrooms warm. -
Great Progress
From floor to ceiling, not even the carpet remains. This is the old grade three and four pod area. -
All clear
All Clear! The old 3rd & 4th grade area is all clear and ready for rebuilding. -
All old HVAC removed.
All of the old HVAC is removed so new installation can begin. -
Road Construction
A new road is built to handle all of the construction equipment. -
New Parking Lot
Workers move dirt and rocks to make a road for additional parking. -
A New Front
Phelps Luck is right in the middle of a face-lift! -
Tunnel
Workers build a tunnel. The tunnel will be placed under the awning. The pupose of the tunnel is to protect students and staff from construction debris. -
Geothermal Energy
Workers install pipes for the geothermal energy field. Geothermal enery is energy that comes from the interior of the earth. Poles are put down deep in the earth and warm or cold water comes into the school to make our building warm or cold. This is a GREEN type of energy. -
Ready for Construction
The grass behind the school is removed for the additional classrooms. -
New HVAC
New heating and air conditioning ducts are installed. -
Drywall
This is the drywall that is put up on the temporary wall.
