My first cell phone
When I got my driver's license I was given my first brick, I mean cell phone. I was only allowed to use it in an emergency! It was $40/month for 20 minutes. I kept it and a charger in my glove box. It was even cooler than my dad's car phone because I could carry it around if I wanted a work out. -
First Email
I sent my first email from my account at UW. -
Internet at home!
What! I don't have to go to the lab on campus? Amazing! We had a shared internet account in my building we had wires running from apartment to apartment! I think it might have been DSL. I'm not even sure! I paid the guy upstairs $10 a month so I had internet on my personal desktop. -
Zip Disk
My first foray into HTML. We saved our webstie on a zip disk. -
Palm Pilot
My Franklin Planner went digital! I had to carry that and a phone. Sheesh. What a burden! -
