Club Penguin
Club Penguin was an MMORPG created by New Horizon Interactive in 2005. The game featured a range of activities and mini-games while allowing players throughout the world to interact with each other. This was the first online interactive game i played, it founded the basis of my ideas about how interacting with players across the world should feel. -
Star Wars: Battlefront 2
Star Wars Battlefront 2 was a third-person shooter game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Lucas Arts. The game was the sequel to Star Wars Battlefront and utilised Lucas's intellectual property. This game was the first FPS/TPS game I played, i have fond memories playing with my older brother and marvelling at the representation of our favourite film series. -
Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal
Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal is the third game in the PlayStation exclusive series of the same name. Created by Insomniac Games in 2004 it was the first game in the series to offer online multiplayer, the game was met with critical acclaim on release. This was one of the first platformers mixed with a third person shooter that I played, also featured a super compelling story across all the games. -
Destroy All Humans!
Destroy all Humans! is a 2005 action adventure created by Pandemic Studios, it is the first in a trilogy of games made to parody cold war era invasion films. This game featured one of the weirdest ideas i'd seen in gaming up until this point and really showed me there is no limit to idea. -
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch in 2012. It is part of the long running Call of Duty franchise and highly touted as the best in the series. The game offered both a compelling campaign continuing the story introduced in it's predecessor and a online multiplayer still considered one of the best of all time.This was the first game i was able to verse people in a multiplayer capacity and changed the way i looked for and played games forever. -
Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V is 2013 action-adventure game created developed by Rockstar North and published under Rockstar Games. It is currently the third best selling game of all time and the most profitable game of all time.This game had a mix of both an incredibly compelling campaign and one of the most fun and interesting online modes in gaming history, it's stood the test of time and i still play it too this day.
