From April 3 to April 8, 2011, Alex Greyjoy is involuntarily held at Clearwater Medical Centre, after his fourth suicide attempt. He is attended to and discharged by Dr Carl Adler. -
Greyjoy is Discharged by Adler
On April 8, 2011, Greyjoy is discharged from CMC by Dr Adler, after an involuntary commitment, which began on April 3. He seemed to only want to hurt himself, not others and was in crisis with his relationship with Courtney. He claimed Courtney had no sympathy to his disease. However, she has been a regular and supportive presence for him during this admission, as has been the case in the past. He is to meet Dr Adler again on April 15, 2011 after this 5 day commitment. -
Argument Between Greyjoy and Lannister

On May 15, 2011, shortly after his break up with ex-girlfriend, Courtney Lannister, Alex Greyjoy checks himself into the Clearwater Medical Centre, suffering from depression and suicidal ideations. Mr. Greyjoy reported at the time that he felt he might harm himself. He also stated that his girlfriend, Miss Lannister -- with whom he had just broken up -- had not been as supportive of him recently, and he wanted to hurt her as she had hurt him. -
Stark Examines Greyjoy
On May 16, 2011, Alex Greyjoy was examined and treated by Dr Lindsey Stark, a staff psychiatrist on-call the evening that Mr. Greyjoy was admitted. Upon information and belief, CMC's rules and regulations required that Stark follow Mr. Greyjoy’s case through discharge to ensure continuity of care.This information is shown in the Encounter Notes, in Exhibit 2. -
Greyjoy is Discharged by Stark
On May 18, 2011, Alex Greyjoy is discharged from Clearwater Medical Centre by Dr Lindsey Stark. On the discharge summary, no homicidal risk factors were present, Greyjoy's Prozac was increased from 20 to 40mg, instructed to have individual psychotherapy, and was encouraged to attend community support. Dr Stark did the summary. Greyjoy's stay lasted 3 days. Courtney Lannister was never contacted. -
Death of Courtney and Greyjoy
On May 23, 2011, Alex Greyjoy murdered Courtney Lannister, and then committed suicide. Courtney was 26. Alex was 29.
