First day in school
When I started school I joined a group or a Cohort of kids I was most likely to graduate with. When I started school, I starting to learn about the social norms by watching how people acted. -
Got my first job
Got my first job working for Martin Excavating. When working for Martin excavating I had a specific role to operate equipment. I also started to experience role conflict. Being a teammate, student, friend, being in a relationship and now an employee was tough to balance. -
Started Highschool
Transitioned from a small St. Clements school with 180 kids to Elmira DSS. I also experienced role strain. -
Broke my first bone
This day, I took a hockey puck to the head without wearing my helmet. I shattered my skull in 12 pieces and cracked my eye socket. Although this doesn't sound like a good time, I got to experience social institutions with by getting free health care. -
Changed Jobs
A year later, I started working at Tri-City Materials. I changed my role set as an employee as my role changed to maintenance. A year after changing to maintenance I then switched back to a heavy equipment operator. -
Got my my drivers licence
On the same day, I got my G2 and bought my first truck. This changed my life a lot for the better, allowing me to have more freedom, do the things I wanted, go where I wanted when I wanted.
