Early Life Of Hacking
Ian Hacking was a Canadian philosopher, who studied natural and social sciences as well as mathematics.
He grew up in Vancouver and attended the university of British Columbia, where he earned a bachelor's degree. Following which he studied at the University of Cambridge. (Cantara, 2024). Where he earned his bachelor's (1956), Master's (1962), and PhD (2962) in moral sciences. He then latter taught Philosophy in a variety of institutions. -
Works of Hacking
Hacking is known for his wide application of philosophy on a variety of subjects, from language, mathematics, and even philosophy itself. Starting in 1965 with the publication of Logic of Statistic Inference(Google, 1965) and ending with the publication of Why Is There Philosophy of Mathematics at all? In 2014.(Google, 2014). In most of his work Hacking, utilized the past to show modern concepts to further understanding. -
