Communist Party Begins
In October 1, 1949, the Communtist Party took over China and the country became part of the Communtist Paty. Mao Zedong became the leader of the Communtist Party and ruled China. -
Cultural Revolution Begins
On May 16, 1966, Mao Zedong or Chairman Mao became the leader and started the Cultural Revolution in China. Chairman Mao changed things in China and wanted people in China to have the same belief as him. -
The Cultural Revolution Officially Ended
In October 13, 1969,The Cultural Revolution in China officially ended and all the worst abuses stopped. -
Mao Zedong's Death
On Sepetember 9, 1976, Mao Zedong died of a heart attack and there was a huge shock of the people in the public. People were also afraid of thier own future and the leader of China. -
The Gang of Four was Captured and Jailed
On October 11, 1976, The Gang of Four was arrested by Hua Guofeng which was the new leader of China. After the Gang of Four was arrested, Hua Guofeng decided to change and reverse China. -
Jiang Qing's Death
On May 14, 1991, Jiang Qing suicide in jail. Jiang Qing killed herself while she was still in jail during the early hours on that day.
