An enterprising alchemist was mixing ingrediants to find an elixir to make the emperor immortal, and when the mixture was exposed to flames, it exploded. The mixture consisted of sulphur, saltpeter and charcoal.

The first true flintlock.
A lid was added to the flash pan design. To expose or protect the powder, the lid had to be moved manually. The flintlock mechanism was designed to push back the lid and spark a flint at the same time.

M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle
It was made to be known as the ¨walking fire¨-carried on your shoulder with a strap and used as a machine. Often fired from a bipod
