Nunez Exploration

Funding

Francisco Pizarro gets his own funding for an exploration. He sailed to just south of Panama, where he found a small amount of gold. This is used to fund other expeditions.

Peru Discovery

Meating the Inca People

Francisco Pizarro came upon the Incs people who lived in Peru. He took Atahualpa their leader hostage and asked for ransom. Starting to become greedy.

Greedy for Money

Francisco Pizarro became greedy for money and power. After the Incas paid the ransom for Atahualpa Francisco killed him. Using the Inca people for money.

Lima is found

Lima is found on a exploration. People traveled here for the land creating a larger population. Becoming the capital of Peru and this has continued today.

Francisco Pizarro's Partner

Francisco Pizarro's traveling partner is Diego de Almagro. They became greedy and began to fight. This turned deadly and Diego was killed.

Death

Francisco Pizarro is assassinated. After his life as a sailor and fugitive he is assassinated by his own people. This happens in Lima.
