Ms. Caroline
It was Scouts first day of school for being a first grader and she met Ms. Caroline a very young but, a new teacher to Maycomb. Ms. Caroline told everyone to read the flashcards she was pulling up but Scout wasn't reading because she was reading a book on her own and Ms. Caroline told her how do you know how to read at this age and Scout says it's her father who teaches her. So Ms. Caroline told Scout that she is prohibited reading with her father because he's going to spoil her brain. -
Souct vs Ms. Caroline
It's the first day of school and Scout get whipped because she blurted about how Walter is Cunningham and how Cunningham's cannot take anything that they cannot give back and if he had shoes he would be erring them. -
Walter Comes to Dinner
Right after Walter gets pummeled by Scout Jem invites Walter to dinner. Walter and Atticus talk about farm stuff and Walter starts pouring molasis on his food and Scout criticizes him and she gets disciplined by Calpurnia and runs off. -
Atticus and Scout
Scout runs off and starts crying andf Atticus starts comfoting her and starts asking whats wrong and she starts saying how Ms. Caroline wont allow Scout read with her father. So Atticus teaches her what a compromise meansd and told her how would she feel if she was Ms. Caroline and told her to be in there skin and look at stuff at Ms. Carolines point of view.
