  • Baby girl Jessica ( Trust vs Mistrust)

    Baby girl Jessica ( Trust vs Mistrust)
    Jessica ( age of 1 month) relies on her mother for food. She knows that if she cries she will be fed. If she cries and is not fed this causes Jessica to have mistrust with her mother. In Erikson's first stage, trust versus mistrust, the crisis is that Jessica is losing hope and trust by her cries of needing to be fed not being met.
  • Jessica does sports ( Industry vs. Inferiority)

    Jessica does sports ( Industry vs. Inferiority)
    Jessica likes school and has decided to join her elementary schools cheer team. As she watches the others on her team she realizes that she is not as good as them. In Erikson's fourth stage, industry versus inferiority, the crisis is that Jessica feels as though she is not industrious (competent) and is now developing a sense of Inferiority because she is not as good as her peers.
  • Jessica does dating ( Intimacy vs Isolation)

    Jessica does dating ( Intimacy vs Isolation)
    Jessica is almost out of high school and has never been in any romantic relationship. She sees her friends with boys all the time and has begun thinking that she will never find a romantic partner. In Erikson's sixth stage, intimacy versus isolation, the crisis is that Jessica is struggling with whether she will be isolated from an intimate and loving relationship which is leading to be without a husband and kids for the rest of her life.
