    The cotton gin was made in 1794,it was created to pick the seeds out of cotton. This made the slave population increase.

    Louisville served as Georgia's third capital from 1796 until 1807.Louisville was organized as a trade center.

  • Baptist and Methodist

    Baptist and Methodist were two of the most popular religions in the 1800s.The two religions spreaded across Georgia and made the population increase.

  • Railroades in Georgia

    The railroads were chartered in 1832 by businessmen in Athens. The railroads spreaded in the 1840s an 1850s this made a growth of cities and towns.

    In 1838 and 1839 the natives were removed from the southeast. This removal lead to the Trail Of Tears.
