Zheng He was a Chinese traders and he may of come in the 1432s. The chinese traders sailed in ships called fleets of jumks. The chinese traders were heading to the spice lands to trade. The Aboriginals told stories about poeple with golden skin. This could have been the makkasans. -

Spanish Exploration Quiros and Torres.
In 1606 Quiros and Torres led three Spanish ships on an Expedition from Peru, in South America to find the Great South Land.Sailed accross the Pasific Ocean going as far as Vanuatu.Quiros was in Command and had to decide whether to continue to Explore the area or return to Mexicoand he picked Mexico even know he could of been the first European to find Australia.Quiros only had one of the three Spanish ships with him.The others were under Torres Command torres was mapping the Great South land. -
