F.W. Woolworth created the discount stores. He also created what is now Foot Locker. We use these nice convenient stores all the time, to pick up little grocery items. -

Gustavus Swift created an easy way to ship meat, this made meat cheap to buy. We buy meat regularly from the grocery store, and it is shipped in buy refigerator trucks. Its easy to ship without the meat going bad. -

John D. Rckefeller created the Standard Oil Company. He brought a new way to produce oil, and became extremly wealthy, We use oil for our cars, and other little things. Oil is very important in our everyday lives. -
