A British soilder standing guard had an argument with a colonist and struck him. Then everyone started throwing snowballs and shouting insults. At the end only five people died, but the colonist used the story as propaganda a story only one side in an argument against the British -
Tea Act
The tea act is an act were you would have to buy all of Britian"s tea from England. Colonists in Philadelphia and New York turned the tea ships back to Britain. In Charleston the cargo was left to rot on the docks. -
The Boston Tea Party
Required all of Britans tea to be bought from England. Which the American Colonists would no longer be able to sell tea and lose their jobs. -
The Sugar Act
The sugar act required the Americans to pay tax for sugar and molasses. The colonist ended paying more because sugar and molasses was valuable. -
The Stamp Act
The stamp act required Americans to pay taxes for items such as newapaper, playing cards, diplomas and legal documents. Which the American colonists then bycotted, the daugters of Liberty made items the colonist would need, and the son of Liberty seet fire to any stamp documents. -
The Townshend Act
The townshend act tax items such as paper, glass, led, and paint.Which the colonists would have to end up paying more.
