Winter At Valley Forge
Washington’s army must hold out in Valley Forge over the whole winter with disease and starvation. The army was about 18 miles northwest of Philadelphia. They were stuck there after failing to retake Philadelphia from British Soldiers. -
Battle of Yorktown
Washington with the Continental army as well Lafayette with the French army fought against the British army. This conflict forced the British Army to surrender. -
