Treaty was signed with between England and France ending the French and Indian War. Canada and continent East of Mississippi River came together as one with Great Britian's growing empire. -

Royal Decree was issued that prohibited North American colonists from maintaining settlements west of imaginary line running down crest of Appalachian mountains.

British placed a tax on sugar, wine, and other thinsg. British wanted money to help provide more security for colonies.

that night a patriots came in and took the tea and poured it into the Boston Harbor.Paul Revere, John Hancock, Patrick Henry, and
Samual Adams were those that did this. -

1st continental congress had 56 delegates from 12 diff. colonies, they met in Philadelphia. 2nd continental congress met in 1775 , when the Rev. war started. continental congress
created the continental army and had George Washington as the commander in chief.Out of the discussions came the Declaration of Independence and articles of confederation. -
