Texans take San Antonio
Rebel Texans attacked and seized San Antonio. Although many Texan leaders believed that San Antonio was too far away from the rebels' base in eastern Texas. -
Arrival of Travis
26 year old Lt. Colonel William Travis arrives with about 40 men and was put suddenly in change when Jim Bowie was forced to leave on family business. around half of the 200 men were volunteers and only took orders from Bowie, who himself didn't care for Travis and often purposely contradicted his orders. -
Crockett is here
Davy Crockett was a legendary frontiersman and former Congressmen, that joined the army in Alamo with a couple more volunteers armed with riflies. He served as a private and played his fiddle for the defenders. -
Santa Anna Appears
Mexican General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna head the massive 2,oo persons army and laid siego to Alamo. The defenders retreated to the relative safety of the Alamo. -
Travis' Request
Travis sent out many request for help after being attacked. Most of the request were sent to James Finnin. Who was only 90 miles away hold almost 300 more men. Finnin never sent his men or replied to Travis' request. Travis also requested help from Sam Houston and the delegrates at Washington-on-the-brazoz. But no help came -

32 men showed up and made it through the enemy's lines to reinforce the Alamo -
A message to Finnin
James Butler Bonham returned to the Alamo after sending a message to Finnin. He died with his comrades 3 days later -
A Line in The Sand
That night, according to legend, Travis took his sword and drew a line in the sand. He then summoned anyone who would stay and fight to the death to cross the lineb in the sand. Every man except Moses Rose stepped over the line. Even Bowie, who was stuck in bed with a debiliitarting illness, asked to be carried over the line. -
The Real Battle Begins
The Mexicans attack. The soldiers made their way throught the walls of the heavily protected Alamo. The 2,000 Mexican soliders defeated the army of almost 200 men in about 90 minutes.
