Act 4
The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come shows Scrooge the inconsiderate reactions to a man’s death compared to the love shown to the deceased Tiny Tim, for the Ghost to later reveal that he is the man everyone was talking about. -
Act 2
The Ghost of Christmas Past shows Scrooge his own memories of rejection from his father and classmates, the lively party hosted by his old boss Fezziwig, his ex-fiancée Belle breaking up their engagement happiness with her new husband and baby. -
Act 1
Scrooge consistently prevents his clerk Bob Cratchit from replenishing his fire, forcing him to work in the cold. Scrooge dismisses his nephew Fred’s Christmas Enthusiasm and invitation to Christmas Dinner Scrooge dismisses the charity collectors claiming that the prisons & workhouses should provide for such people and if that wasn't enough they could go ahead and die to “decrease the surplus population”. Scrooge is visited by the ghost of Marley who warns Scrooge to change his ways. -
Act 3
The Ghost of Christmas Present shows Scrooge the humility shared by the Cratchit Family despite their poverty and hardships for Tiny Tim, and the evidence of this Christmas spirit everywhere, and the two children named Ignorant & Want. -
Act 5
Scrooge awakes on Christmas Day with a new enthusiasm for life, Christmas, and Generosity. By donating to Charity, giving Bob a raise, spreading Christmas cheer, and agreeing to celebrate with Fred.
