The family who built the house- or purchased first- depending on what I find in research. Steven and Carol lived there with their two kids, Jessica and Mark. They lived there until Mark died. Jessica killed herself in the house. Carol moved to a nursing home after Mark. -

Management company swoops up and buys the place to rent out to students who go to the nearby state college. They don't fix much, give it the ol' landlord special, and have it good to go for a Sept. 1st move-in.
