William Bradford
Has William Bradford ever questioned his religion? Bradford kept mentioning that all the events on his journey were divine acts of God weather t be diseases or the friendship of indians. But I think that at least at one point Bradford questioned God's will because of all the bad things that happened to them. I believe he thought at one point that God had forgotten about them and that was why they were so unlucky. -
Mary's Narrative captivity
Did Mary Rowlandson ever fear dying in captivity? In her narrative she seemed fearless as she described every grusome detail, and she kept saying that her captivity was an act of God she still had hope, but most people fear their deaths in the condition and the situation Rowlandson was in. I believe she did have some fear but her utter belief in her faith wwas enough to keep it off her mind.
