    On This Date, Austria-Hungary Declared War On Serbia. This is because Archduke Francis Ferdinand is Assassinated by Gavrilo Princip, he is part of a Austro-Hungarian terrorist group.

    The German Emperor Officially Declares "Kriegsgefahrszustand" Which Is German For "Threat Of War Status."
  • England Declares War On Germany

    In the summer of 1914 most of Europe started to declare war. England has a very famous navy and they know that, they had the decision whether or not to participate in the war. After the German invasion of Belgium, Britain decided to come i the war and help Belgium and France and declared war on Germany.
  • General Sir James Grierson Dies

    Lieutenant General Sir James Moncrieff Grierson was a British soldier that fought in ww1 on the British's Side. he was born on 27 January 1859 he died on 17 August 1914. he was John Frenchs' "Best Friend" And He was Killed Unexpectedly by an (unknown to me) sickness.
