They are happily married in Scotland. -

John has his first child, it is a boy. -
John leaves to Canada
John and Polly Wilson were happily married living in Scotland. They had children on the way and were a nice family. John's brother stole money to help his business and John got involved and ended up stealing money from his brother in law. People found out about this and John was very embarrassed. He could not face the consequences and continue living in Scotland so he left his family and moved to Canada. -
John's daughter Ella is born
John has his second child, it is a girl. Although he wasn't present for the birth. -
Jack moves to Prince Albert and starts a tomato growing business
It was flattened by a hail storm. -
World War 1 begins
War was declared on Germany. -
John attempts to join the military
John is rejected because he has weak lungs. -
Jack joins the Royal North West Mounted Police
Jack needed a job while he lived in Canada. He first tried to join the army and hoped to fight for Canda. This did not happen because he was rejected due to his weak lungs. John decided to join the Royal North West Mounted Police. The police did not make very much money, and they worked long hard hours. -
Jack arrives in Blaine Lake
He represents the RNWMP, despite his weak lungs, makes low wage and had intense training. -
Jack meets Jessie Patterson
Jack meets a young girl, he later falls inlove with her. -
Jack tried to join the army for a second time
He is rejected yet again. -
Jack Wilson was questioned by John Patterson
Rumours are going around that Jack does have a wife, she is not deceased. Jack tells Mr. Patterson that this is true but they are getting deivorced. -
Jack got sick with tuberculosis
Jack was diagnosed with Tuberculosis, a lung disease, and fell ill. Jessie Patterson was around at this time and took care of him. John and Jessie spent alot of time together during this. When Polly was told about Jessie, Jack told her that it was during this time that he fell in love with Jessie due to the comfort and help she gave to him. He said he was going to break it off with Jessie. -
Jack sends a fake letter to Jessie from his dying sister
This letter tells that Jack is a great man who had his life ruined by his wife, Polly. -
Polly makes it to Regina
Polly comes to Canada to see Jack. -
Jack was offered the job as chief inspector
He turns down this job to go to Saskatoon -
Jack moves to Saskatoon
Jack tunrs down the chief inspector job in he was offered and accepts a job he sees to be better in Saskatoon. -
Jack kills his wife Polly Hutchinson
Jack picked up his wife in his grey Dort. He was nervous and sweating and Polly knew something with different but she enjoyed getting to spend time with him anyways. John took her to the middle of no where and took out his shot gun and shot a rabbit. He then turned to Polly and after laying down the car blanket he shot her in the head. He vomited. He did not think it was going to be like this. -

After killing his wife, John Wilson tried to cover it up. He rolled her up in the car blanket and hid her body. He then rolled his car when he hit a culvert. After rolling his car he decided it would be best if he ;it it on fire and burned it to get rid of the evidence. He lied about the fire starting in the rear of the car. Isaac Peters photographed the scene. -
John Wilson marrys Jessie Patterson
Soon after he kills his wife, John Wilson marrys Jessie Patterson like nothing has happened.
