French and Indian War
This was a war between the British and the Huron and the French and the Iroqouis. The British eventually won this war giving the colonists more land. Which was later taken away from them. -

This was a document signed by the Parliament. This document basically kept the Colonists from taking over the land. The Colonists ignored it and moved on anyway.

This was an act put on by the Parliament. It raised revenue in the colonies the Tax on tea stayed but taxes on other things disappeared. This resulted in a boycott of tea. -

THis happened after the Boton Massacre. It was because the Colonists got really angry at the Parliament for taxing on tea. So they went on to British ships and dumped the tea overboard. -

Battles of Lexington and Concord These were two battles between the Red Coats went to get ammo that was in Concord so they went to Concord but Paul Revere and two others went on a midnight ride to let everyone know that the Red coats were coming. So they got ready but lost at lexington. Then made them retreat at Concord. But Patriots lined the route and shot at every red coat they saw. -

This was when the Colonists were able to force the British out of Boston with using Cannons that wouldn't even do anything
This was basically when George Washington got some Cannons and painted trees to look like Cannons that way the British would leave so they could protect they're ships. It worked because the British didn't know that the cannons couldn't reach the ships so they left to protect they're ships. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
Battle of Bunker Hill The british attacked the colonists to get bunker hill but had to retreat. They then came back again to attack but had to retreat once more. Then they came one last time and the colonists had to retreat. This was a win because the colonists killed 1,000 soldiers but they lost the hill. -

This was a battle that the continental army lost in trying to have New York and were forced to the edge and almost lost but were able to escape across the river because of fog. THey were able to escape because the British were idiots and didn't advance when they had them in their grasps. -

This was a battle that was fought just outside the town of KIngs mountain when the Red Coats were trying to retreat the Patriots surprised them and attacked them closing them in and the General was shot dead causing the loyalists to surrender giving the Patriots a win. -

The British moved to yorktown so they could get supplies but in 1781 the French came and stopped the British from bringing supplioes. Then washington and a French fleet attacked the British and made them surrender on October 19, 1781. 8,000 troops surrendered this won the war. Then after wards they made the british walk the two lines they formed and put there weapons at the end. -
The Treaty of Paris
Treaty of Paris
This was put in to play giving the United States there INdependence. There boundries would be the Mississippi river to the west,Canada to the North,and Spanish Florida to the South. They also received rights to fish off the coast near newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Also that the British had to return any enslaved people. Also the Congress recomended the states return all the property taken from the loyalists.
