Act 1 Event 1: Scene 2
The event in this scene is when Hamlet is talking to his mother and Claudius because it shows a lot of his character, his personality, his true feelings and hid troubles. It also show how educated he is since he is able to be a smart ass without the king or queen noticing. -

Act 1 Event 2: Scene 3
The event that is important in this scene is when Ophelia is being told not to see Hamlet again and when she agrees to the commands. The reason i think it is important is because it shows how the men in Ophelia’s life are trying to control her and how she follows her families orders without being reluctant. This shows the reader how this will cause a relationship problem with hamlet since she just follows orders without thinking for herself. -
Act 1 Event 3: Scene 5
The Event in this scene is when Hamlet sees his fathers ghost and when he vows for revenge because in this scene Hamlet's world is changed completely and it is foreshadowing into the future/ this scene also helps the reader see how much Hamlet is going to be in conflict and it gives the reader a reason to keep reading. -
Act 2 Event 1: Scene 2
One event in this scene is when Polonius tells the king and queen that he has figured out why Hamlet is sad. This is actually irrelevant to the reader for now because they know that that may be a reason but they know the real reason for his depression, it isn’t till Polonius suggests that Ophelia should talk to Hamlet so they can eavesdrop then the reader is unsure of what is going to happen. Will Hamlet know what they are planning, will he confide in Ophelia or will he throw a fit. -

Act 2
2 Points since there is only 2 scences. -
Act 2 Event 2: Scene 2
The important event in this scene is when the king hires Hamlets "friends" to spy on him. This is an important event because you realize that the king is trying really hard to find out what wrong with hamlet but you dont know why so it makes it seem its for a bad reason. it also helps the reader see that they are going to Hamlet even sader because of their betreyal. by now the reader should be able to infer that Hamlet is too smart to fall into their tricks . -
Act 2 Event 2: Scene 2
The last event in this act is when Hamlet forgets his sadness for a while to put into effect his plan to reveal if Claudius is guilty by using the traveling troupe. This is important because this shows the reader how Hamlet used to be before his troubles began and how he isn’t being rash and just rushing in to kill Claudius but he is still doing something to avenge his father. -
Act 3 Event 1: Scene 1
The event I chose was when Ophelia and Hamlet are talking while Polonius and Claudius listen. This is important because This is when Hamlet realizes he is alone not only have his "friends" betrayed him but so did the love of his life. This shows the reader how much he loved Ophelia until this even if you cant tell behind all his fury but it also shows how crazy Hamlet is getting he is being too harsh on Ophelia at the same time. -
Period: to
Act 3

Act 3 Event 2: Scene 2
The event i chose is when Claudius is at the play and he realizes that Hamlet Knows. i chose this because it show the climaz of the story. how is claudius going to react? this ios the point where the readers are and viewers of hooked and want to see if Hamlet is going to go through with his revenge and how. -
Act 3 Event 3: Scene 3
I chose the event where Claudius is on his knees "praying". The reason that that is important because when Hamlet sees him he thinks he is praying so he won’t kill him. The reader/viewer is now in waiting in anticipation which is why it is such an important scene. It cause emotions on people then as soon as they came they went away. -
Act 3 Event 4: Scene 4
The last event I chose for this act was when Polonius dies. I chose this scene because now you realize that Hamlet is screwed. This is the point where the reader/audience is predicting Hamlets future .this is when people start thinks how this is going to end but have to continue to see which makes it an important part in the book. -
Period: to
Act 4
3 Points -
Act 4 Event 1: Scene 1
I chose the event in this act where Gertrude tells Claudius that Hamlet has killed Polonius. This is important because you realize that another person has just betrayed Hamlet once more making you sympathies with Hamlet and start feeling sorry for him before the end. -
Act 4 Event 2: Scene 4
the event that is important in this is act is when Hamlet meets Fortinbra's army bound for poland. this is important because this is the point that Hamlet gains the courage to finally kill Claudius seeiing the armies bravery. at this point the reader can infer the end is near which makes it an important event. -
Act 4 Event 3: Scene 5
I chose the event when Ophelia has gone crazy. i chose this point because it is an example of how your actions can affect others even if you dont mean to. this is a perfect example of a tragedy because the reader/viewer can tell that this will not end good the only way this will end is with death. -
Act 5 Event 1: Scene 2
i chose the grave diggers event because this is the point that you know Hamlet is heartbroken. you see a new side of hamlet which is one the last the reader/viewer sees. -
Period: to
Act 5
2 Points since there is only 2 scenes -
Act 5 Event 2: Scene 2
I chose the part where everyone dies because this is the end of the play the part where tragedy struck but in the end the reader is just so emotional right now which is what Shakespeare would have wanted. This is the tragedy. -
Ct 5 Event 3: Scene 2
I chose the point where Fortinbras is told the story and takes Hamlet away like a kings. the reason i chose that is because in the end everyone got there revenge. Hamlet killed Claudius, Laertes killed Hamlet, Forinbra got his revenge too even if it ended in a tragedy.this is the point where the reader/viewer realized that there is no happy ending no matter how much you wished for it.
