In 1910 George married Beatrice Ayer. The two met in 1902 while he was out of school. They stayed married unitl George's death in 1945. -

Patton was origanly detailed to Front Royal, Virginia. After the U.S. had entered WWI, Goerge had requested to join John Pershings staff. Patton was promoted to captain on May 15th, 1917, and left for Europe. -
He was in charge of the U.S. 1st Provisional Tank Brigade.
In August 1918, he was placed in charge of the U.S. 1st Provisional Tank Brigade (re-designated the 304th Tank Brigade on November 6, 1918). Patton's Light Tank Brigade was part of Colonel Samuel Rockenbach's Tank Corps -
George Patton IV was born in 1923.
This is the fourth generation Patton with the same name, George Patton. His parents were Gorge S. Patton Jr. and Beatrice Ayer. He had passed away June 27th, 2004. -

George Patton's army liberated France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Bavaria, Austria and Czechoslavakia. It was George S. Patton’s Third Army which captured or killed 1,000 Germans every day in combat. -

In 1944 Patton wrote a prayer and christmas greeting that was sent to the men of the Third Army of the United States. The prayer was ment to give hope to the men who believed in god. The christmas greeting also showed that Patton believed in his men. -
1944 was the year that the Battle of the Bulge happened.
Patton had heard about the attack the Germans were planning against the allies, with 250,000 men, the allies would have a difficult time getting through. So Patton led his men well, they faught as hard as they possibly could. So the end result was victorious, he may have lost alot of men, but it wasnt without vengence. -
Patton's men have advanced into Germany.
In 1945, the U.S. had started to push more and more to advance into Germany. General Patton had his 3rd U.S. army cross the Saar river against the advance of his officers. The General and his men had faught very well that year. -
George Smith Patton Jr. died.
George S. Patton passed away in December. He was in a severe car accident while on his way to hunt pheasents. He was in the car with Major General Hobart R. "Hap" Gay. -
A statue was made in honor of General Patton.
In 2009, a statue was place at West Point United States Military Academy. This is a statue in honor of the great work he had done for the U.S. Army during World War I and World War II. It had been originally designed by James Earle Fraiser. -
