-
Carlous Linnaues
Carolous is a Swedish botanist who developed a classification system for all types of organisms by their similarities. This system also reflects the organisms' evolutionary relationships. Carolous proposed that organisms might have arisen through hybridization. -
Georges Louis Leclerc de Buffon
Buffon was a French naturalist who proposed that organisms shared ancestors instead of arising separetly. Buffon lso rejected the idea that Eart was 6000 years old; he believed it was much older. -
Erasmus Darwin

Barbara McClintock
Barbara McClintock was born in Hartford, and went to school in New York. She found discovered her love of genetics and began to research about chromosomes. Some of her biggest contributions to science was discovering what the telomere and centromere of the chromosome were for. -
Rosalind Franklin
Rosalind Franklin was born in London in 1920. Franklin’s main contribution to evolution came in the form of helping discover the structure of DNA.Working mainly with x-ray crystallography, Rosalind Franklin was able to determine that a molecule of DNA was double stranded with the nitrogen bases in the middle with a sugar backbone on the outsides.
