The First Fleet ships located at Portsmouth are loaded with convicts, equipment and two years worth of supplies. -

Eleven small ships crowded with over 15 hundred people leave Portsmouth. -

The First Fleet arrive in the Cape of Good Hope and restock their supplies. -
5th Stop: South Tasmania.
The First Fleet arrive on the south coast of tasmania. They get more food and water again. -
Arthur Philip Swiches Ships
Arthur Philip Swiches Ships to the Supply along with 3 other faster ships and sails for Botany Bay. -
Arrived at Australia
The supply arrives at Botany Bay. But the other ships soon follow. Botany Bay is found to be unsuitable for settlement so Philip leaves to explore north to Port Jackson where he finds Sydney Cove and suitable land. -
Arrival in Sydney Cove
Arthur Philip arrives in Sydney Cove on the Supply followed by the rest of the First Fleet. This day later becomes celebrated as Australia Day.
