1.Battle of Troy
Odysseus leaves Ithaca to go fight in the Trojan war. The greeks win the war by tricking the Trojans with a wooden horse. They hid inside of the horse and when the Trojans rolled the horse in to their territory the greeks jumped out and ambushed the Trojans. -

Odysseus and his raid this island after leaving Troy. Odysseus lost 72 men in this raid. -

3.Land of the Lotus eaters
Lotus' are flowers make you lose your desire to go home. To escape from this island Odysseus had to tie his men to the boat and sail away. -

4.Cyclopes
Odysseus and men find a cave where they eat they eat the cyclopes' food and cheese. When the cyclopes returns he traps them in the cave and eats 2 of the men, to escape they had to stab the cyclopes in the eye and flee by clinging to the bellies of sheeps -

5.Island of Aeolus
Aeolus, the god of wind, gives Odysseus a fair west wind to blow him back to Ithaca and gives him a bag of stormy winds. After opening the bag of stormy winds they get blown back to the island of Aeolus. Aeolus belives that their journey is cused and refuses to help them anymore -

6.Circes Island
Crices, is a witch, who turns Odysseus's men into pigs. Hermes helps Odysseus. But Circes says in order for them to leave they must stay for one year and then visit the Land of the Dead -

7.Land of the Dead
When Odysseus reaches the Land of the Dead it scares him and he finds out that his mother died after he left for Troy. -

8.Sirens
When the Sirens sing they atrract people, make them lose their desire to go home, and kill them on their island. To avoid this Odysseus puts wax in his mens ears and they tied him to the boat mast and everyone lives. -

9.Scylia and Charybdis
To get closer to home they must either pass Scylia, a six headed 12 legged monster or Charybdis, a whirlpool that would kill everyone. They decided to pass Scylia and they only lose 6 men. -

10.Helios
Odysseus's men were so hungry they decided to raid the island of Helios. Odysseus tells them that this is a bad idea. The ship is wrecked by Zeus and everyone Odysseus. -

11.Calypso's Island
Calypso captures Odysseus and keeps him captive on her island for seven years when he becomes unfaithful to his wife, Penolope. He starts to become depressed about his infeldelity then Zeus finally sends Hermes to tell Calypso to let Odysseus go. -

Odysseus finally gets home to his family in Ithaca.
