Scholars felt doubts in the accuracy of the traditional and thus mostly accustomed interpretation of the sacred “to be or not to be” not once. Quite evidently these doubts appeared at a students’ seminar on artistic translation in the process of word for word translation and its comparison with a variety of professional translators’ variants both in Russian and Ukrainian languages. -

VII Annual All-Ukrainian Contest of Shakespeare-related Scholarly Papers for Students and Young Scholars in Memory of Prof. Vitaliy Keis was founded in 2010 by the Ukrainian Shakespeare Centre under the aegis of theUkrainian National Women’s League of America.
